The Wayford Bridge Inn is a proud supporter of local girls rugby via our sponsorship of the Norwich Rugby Club girls section the Norwich Wildcats.
This sponsorship has along with other national and local companies provided the teams with new match kit and training equipment. These funds also help with training, experiences and subsidy so that those without the ability to pay do not miss out.
The wildcats organisation has a truly warm and welcoming ethos that offers all players regardless of ability a supportive and fun environment that is so important ant after loosing so much time during covid. It is not profit making and the girls section is maintained by volunteers generously giving their time and expertise.
Central to this is adherence to T.R.E.D.S – Teamwork • Respect • Enjoyment • Discipline • Sportsmanship

Norfolk Champions
The U14 Wildcats are the current “Champions of Norfolk” 2022 and 2023 along with being Eastern Counties finalists. We are so proud of their achievements.
We are also delighted to announce that many of the U14 wildcats have moved up to the U16 squad and are Norfolks representatives in the National CUP.
